About our shepherd hut roof spars:
Cut and shaped from solid Canadian Poplar (Tulipwood), renowned for its smooth finish, straightness and interesting grain. These spars are designed to fit our traditional roof construction and locate into either side of a morticed main beam. They are chamfered to both underside edges for a traditional, crafted finish.
They are supplied with a tenon at the upper end which fit into the main beam and a “flat” at the lower end to fit onto your wall plate.
